Valerie Battles

What Valerie loves about HR: HR requires continuous learning and gives her the ability to help people in and out of the workplace. Valerie also gets to fulfill her passion for mentoring by offering employment advice and sharing her professional experiences as a source of information and inspiration.

Experience: Valerie has worked in various HR positions for more than 25 years, including as VP of Human Resources for an insurance services organization. She also has more than 15 years of experience as an HR consultant working with small and medium-size businesses. Valerie has an MBA, as well as SHRM-SCP and sHRB designations.

Fun fact: Valerie has visited six continents! She is passionate about the environment, nature, reducing waste, and mentoring.
